Collection: SEVENOVA

Founded in December 2024, SEVENOVA was born from a heartfelt dream — to bring warmth, imagination, and kindness into the real world.

Its founder began creating artworks inspired by rescued and stray animals in 2019, seeking to expand the project’s influence and explore a sustainable, meaningful path for her creativity.

A graduate of the University of the Arts London, she spent years studying illustration and picture-book storytelling, where her vision to blend fairy tales with real life began to take shape. In today’s fast-paced and pressure-filled world, she felt more people needed a little escape — a gentle, whimsical world where warmth and wonder coexist.

To make this dream tangible, she turned to the expressive art of needle-felt wool — a material both organic and infinitely creative. Partnering with a friend who runs a wool-felting workshop in Kathmandu, Nepal, she spent two months living and working alongside local female artisans, witnessing their strength and resilience firsthand. This experience deepened her commitment to ethical craftsmanship and fair opportunities for women in developing regions.

Rooted in her Chinese heritage, the founder also hopes to share the creativity and innovation of Chinese design with the world — transforming the old label of “Made in China” into “Designed in China”, filled with originality, culture, and imagination.

Drawing inspiration from the ancient Chinese text Shan Hai Jing (The Classic of Mountains and Seas) and the mystical imagery of the Seven Heavens, SEVENOVA weaves together Eastern mythology and Western fantasy to create a timeless fairy-tale universe.

Each creation invites people to step into a dreamlike world — a place where art, story, and emotion intertwine, offering comfort, imagination, and connection. In every piece lies a quiet wish: that everyone may find their own haven of wonder and warmth in this world of make-believe.
